Our state-of-the-art digital color printing equipment enables us to produce high-resolution prints as large as 13" x 19", on stock as heavy as 120# Cover. With regular color calibration, we ensure that every print is of the highest quality and accurate in color. Our two high-volume commercial black & white copiers allow us to offer excellent quality and quick turn-around for all of your copying needs.

We provide a comprehensive range of graphic design services, from logos to business cards, brochures to posters and banners.

Our team has over 40 years of combined training and experience in graphic and advertising design, photography, silkscreen applications, forms design, business English, technical writing and editing. We leverage this expertise to help our clients find and develop their professional image.

Design Guidelines

At Printworks Company, we are committed to delivering the highest quality printed materials. To achieve this, there are specific design guidelines that should be followed when creating files for printing.

Files must be submitted at the size of the desired output, and the document page size should match the actual print size in your layout program, including the bleed area. We prefer PDF files for programs containing text, as this allows us to print your document using the font(s) you have chosen. If fonts are not the same when printed, there may be color matching issues.

Colors should be assigned using CMYK, as our digital printers use combinations of four colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to achieve the colors you see on your computer monitor. Our software will convert any other color mode to CMYK before printing, potentially causing color matching issues. If color matching is an issue, provide us with a hard copy or Pantone color codes and we will make every effort to match them.

Document resolution, or DPI, should be at least 300 for most printed materials, providing a crisp and clean image. When designing with bleeds, design elements should extend past the edge of the printed piece, at least 1/8". Any elements outside of the safe zone, which is 1/8" inside of the trim line, risk being clipped when the work is trimmed.
