Our History

Our story began in 1913 when Charles Sidney Blackman immigrated to America from Australia, settling in Los Angeles, CA, and later moving to the Imperial Valley in 1917. Charles, an accomplished plumber, opened his own shop in Holtville, California, marking the beginning of Blackman Plumbing. Over the years, the company grew, weathering World War I, the Roaring Twenties, and the Great Depression. Through the decades, Blackman Plumbing expanded its services, relocating to new headquarters, and undergoing changes in leadership. Today, under the ownership of Michael Wickline, we continue to uphold our founder's commitment to quality workmanship, professional service, and fair pricing.
