Treatment Methods

  • Acupuncture: Despite concerns about needles, most patients find acupuncture virtually painless and relaxing. Hair-thin needles are skillfully inserted and manipulated, promoting blood flow, immune function, and natural pain relief. Treating musculoskeletal issues (back pain, sciatica, tennis elbow, degenerative joint diseases, and sprains) as well as internal conditions (digestive disorders, gynecological issues, autoimmune disorders, headaches/migraines, and addiction), acupuncture offers a holistic, versatile approach to healthcare.
  • Chinese Herbal Medicine: With over 2000 years of refinement, Chinese herbal medicine provides powerful relief for insomnia, hot flashes, infertility, digestive complaints, edema, and more. Customized formulas address individual health concerns, complementing acupuncture or serving as standalone therapy.
  • Moxa: Derived from mugwort, moxa has been used with acupuncture for over 3000 years. Moxibustion involves the burning of moxa to warm the body, boost immunity, improve blood flow, and relieve pain.
  • Cupping: Using suction, cupping releases static blood from tissue and increases circulation, loosening tight muscles and promoting relaxation.
  • Tuina: Also known as Chinese Medical Massage, Tuina employs massage techniques from martial arts traditions, enhancing the flow of vital energy (Qi) throughout the body.
  • Guasha: Gentle scraping stimulates immune function, relaxes tissue, and releases pathogens.

Colville Acupuncture proudly serves the entire family, from children and teenagers to adults and seniors, fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory healing environment for all.
