Our History

The Hunt family business was founded by Lewis M. Hunt Sr., who was born in Sparta, Georgia, and later moved to Chester, Pennsylvania, at the age of 20. He married Naomi Barnes and graduated from the Dolan School of Embalming in Philadelphia in 1926. Together, they established the Lewis M. Hunt Funeral Home, which has since become a trusted name in the community for providing exceptional funeral services.
