Our History

Our story began over three decades ago when our founder, Bill Jones, opened his first office in 1985. Throughout the years, Bill has been driven by a passion for helping others and a commitment to exceptional service. In 2008, Bill made the decision to go out on his own again and founded his current firm, Jones, Lakin & Company, CPAs, PC. In 2018, team member Kimberly A. Lakin purchased the business from Bill, and the firm was born.

Our Team

Our current full-time team members include Bill Jones, Kimberly Lakin, and Emily Brown. Kimberly has been working with Bill since 2015, while Emily has been working with Bill since 2005.
