The Renaissance Story

Before the redevelopment of downtown San Diego, the Marina District was San Diego's warehouse district. In the 1980s, Walter Smyk built The Meridian, a pioneering project that paved the way for the area's transformation. Fast-forward to the late 1990s, when L & L Center purchased the land on which Renaissance now stands. Construction began in 2000, with the North Tower completed in 2002 and the South Tower in 2003. Today, Renaissance is a thriving community, with 221 residential units and 7 commercial units.

The Board of Directors

At Renaissance, our owners are our biggest assets. That's why we've put in place a Board of Directors, composed of elected members who oversee the Association. The Board is responsible for collecting Association dues, paying bills, enforcing rules and regulations, and managing the Association efficiently. They collaborate with a professional General Manager and three standing committees: Finance, Grounds, and Social. If you're interested in serving on the Board or a committee, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
