Our Doctors

Dr. Aaron Mjelstad hails from North Dakota and brings a wealth of experience to Excelsior Eye Care. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry (Honors) and has undergone extensive clinical training at prestigious institutions like Teplick Laser Center, Luke Air Force Base, and Kaiser Permanente Hospital. His expertise spans comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, LASIK evaluations, and sports vision evaluations. Dr. Mjelstad is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and three children.

Joining the practice in 2012, Dr. Nathan Langemo shares a passion for comprehensive eye care. This Fargo, ND native obtained his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. During his studies, he excelled in his internships at renowned facilities like Allina Medical Center, Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center, Tyndall Air Force Base, and Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut. Dr. Langemo specialized in Sports Vision during optometry school and has even published his research in the Journal of the American Optometric Association. He is a dedicated member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Langemo is a dedicated father and enjoys an active lifestyle that includes running, biking, and fishing.
