Our Story

Our journey began in 1997, when our owner, Sara Thompson, opened the doors to Ceramic Cafe, bringing the innovative concept of "paint your own pottery" to the Kansas City area. With a background in occupational therapy and no formal business training, Sara took a leap of faith, driven by her passion for creative expression and community building. Today, Ceramic Cafe has become a beloved gathering place for families, friends, and individuals seeking a creative outlet, a unique gift, or a fun and relaxing experience.

Our Services
