Heard Woodworking is a leading provider of high-quality, custom, handmade cabinetry at reasonable prices. Launched in September 2000, our mission is to bring customers exceptional craftsmanship and timeless designs. At Heard Woodworking, we eliminate the middle man, allowing us to design, create, and install all our cabinetry ourselves. Design Process

Our design process begins with an initial consultation where we discuss the size or scope of the project, the style of cabinetry, and the wood species. From this initial meeting, we develop a detailed proposal. Upon acceptance of the proposal, we move on to the design phase, where we work directly with the client or their designer or architect. We use a cabinet program called Cabinet Vision, which provides floor plans, elevations, cut through, and 3D views. This program allows us to make any necessary modifications to the design until the client is completely satisfied. Once the design is finalized, the program generates G-code, which we use to fabricate the cabinetry using our CNC Router.

Woodworking Shop

We invite you to view photos of our 6,000 square foot woodworking shop located in Chatham, New Jersey. Our shop includes a 500 square foot spray and drying room. Our foreman oversees shop operations to ensure each job is completed on time, on budget, and to the client's exact specifications by our skilled craftsmen. All of our cabinets are carefully packaged before they leave the shop and are transported to the client's location.
