Meet Our Doctors

Our team of experienced veterinarians is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pet.

• Dr. James Lupton: Dr. Lupton grew up in Wilson, NC, and graduated from NC State University in 2007. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2011. Dr. Lupton has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine.
• Dr. Carrie Raymond: Dr. Raymond grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, and moved to North Carolina in 1999 to attend North Carolina State Veterinary School. She has a strong interest in behavior, dentistry, and internal medicine.
• Dr. Renae Wohlers: Dr. Wohlers attended undergraduate school at North Carolina State University and graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has a strong interest in ultrasound, dermatology, animal behavior, and cardiology.
• Dr. Katherine Leah Holmes: Dr. Holmes was born and raised in Smithfield, NC, and attended UNC Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.
