Unlike other gyms and exercise programs, we can work with and around nearly any injury, disability or fitness ability.

Our Story

Fitness is Medicine was created by Abby Wynja, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, after she recognized a need for non-intimidating and approachable exercise programs for real people. With over 10 years of experience in creating and managing exercise programs for aging and medically complex individuals, Abby has dedicated her career to helping people achieve their health goals. Our gym is designed to provide a supportive environment where our clients can feel comfortable, motivated, and empowered to take charge of their health.

Our Services

We offer a variety of programs to get you back into shape and feeling well. Our services include:

  • Group Managed Exercise Program: A group setting where you'll work out with others, but with your own personalized exercise program developed and managed by our certified exercise physiologists.
  • One-on-One Personal Training: Receive one-on-one attention from our certified exercise physiologists, who will develop and manage a personalized exercise program tailored to your needs and goals.
  • Seven Week Online Course: A comprehensive online program designed for motivated individuals who want to start exercising but don't know where to start.
