Melanie's journey in design and real estate began with a deep understanding of the island of Nantucket's unique history, neighborhoods, architecture, and community. She has a lifelong love for property design and moved to Nantucket to establish her business. Before entering the design profession, Melanie worked in financial and strategy consulting, where she learned the value of beautiful, smart design and branded marketing in the success of real estate sales and rentals.

Melanie's passion extends beyond her work as a designer and realtor. She is deeply committed to historic preservation and affordable housing, issues that affect all geographies, especially the island of Nantucket. She serves as a board member of the Nantucket Preservation Trust and a committee member for the Annual August Fete. Additionally, she is a member of the Housing Nantucket Housing Advisory Board, actively involved in creating solutions for the year-round workforce population.
