We specialize in providing top-notch electrical services to clients in West Virginia, southern Pennsylvania, and eastern Ohio, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry.

Our company, Posey Electric Inc, was founded by a master electrician with over 30 years of experience in the electrical contracting business. We have a long history of providing high-quality workmanship and expertise in various industries, including retail, automotive, manufacturing, and more.

In the late 1990s, we began to specialize in electrical work for the oil and gas industries, particularly in the Marcellus and Utica gas fields. We have partnered with Quality Machine Inc. and have successfully completed over 25 complete rig packages, including generator shacks, auxiliary generator shacks, doghouses, soaphouses, and fuel skids for the SpeedStar 185 drilling rigs. Additionally, we have completely wired over a dozen conventional double and triple drilling rigs, earning us a strong reputation in the gas and oil industry.

Our Fleet and Equipment

We have a heavy-duty fleet of service trucks capable of meeting virtually any of your electrical needs at your facility, shop, rig up yard, or wellsite. Our service trucks are equipped with generators, power threaders, hydraulic conduit benders, and crimpers.

Our equipment includes power threaders with the capacity to thread up to 6" rigid conduit, hydraulic conduit benders with the capacity to bend up to 5" rigid conduit and 4" EMT conduit, and hydraulic crimpers with the capacity of crimping up to 1000 MCM cable. We also have a variety of cable pullers with up to 8000 lbs. of pulling force.

In addition to our equipment, we are better equipped than most contractors. We have the latest volt/ohm meters and amp meters from Fluke and Amprobe, as well as megohm meters (meggers), earth/ground resistance meters, and an oscilloscope for when the need arises.
