At Bruce A.T. Siska Architect PLLC, we believe that architecture is the physical manifestation of ideas, details, materials, site, and budget. Our mission is to facilitate a collaborative effort between the architect, the client, and the builder to create a harmonious, functional, and aesthetically refined structure.

Bruce A.T. Siska, the sole owner and architect of the firm, graduated from the Masters of Architecture program at Syracuse University in Florence, Italy. With over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential projects, Mr. Siska has established a reputation for delivering high-quality designs that meet the unique needs of each client. He is an active member of the Peconic Chapter of the AIA and sits on many local boards, including the East Hampton Village Design Review Board, the East Hampton Village Planning and Zoning Committee, the East Hampton Historical Society, and the Thomas Moran Trust. Recent Projects

Here are some of our recent projects:

  • Gambrel Style, East Hampton Village: This new construction project is located on a small lot in the Georgica section of East Hampton Village and was included on the East Hampton Village Historical Society House and Garden tour in 2013. The design features a sweeping roof over a wrap-around covered porch and includes a double-height entry foyer, den with full bath, living room, and step-down kitchen and dining room on the first floor. Three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are located on the second floor.
  • Modern Waterfront, Sag Harbor, NY: This extensive renovation/addition project involves a two-story, waterfront house built in the late 1980s. The existing design made no attempt to relate to the site or the views of Sag Harbor Bay. Phase 1 of the project, which was completed in the spring of 2015, consisted of a full gut renovation of the existing first floor, a new garage addition, and re-allocation of the interior spaces. The front door was relocated to allow for an axial view from the approach to the site, through the house, to the bay beyond. The waterside elevation was designed with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall, glass panels and sliding doors to take full advantage of the views of the bay.
