Mark Garvey Architect is a sole practitioner with extensive experience in various kinds of projects. Our portfolio includes breweries, wineries, retail, hospitality, office, laboratory, dental, health care, educational, historic restoration, industrial, and residential projects. We aim to provide our clients with a high level of service and excellent design.

Our focus is on creating work that is functional, well-crafted, environmentally conscious, and enduring. Based in Portland, Oregon, we are a registered AIA architect with LEED and NCARB Certification.

Awards and Recognition

We are proud to have received several awards and recognitions for our work. In 2007, our Widmer Brothers Brewery Expansion project received the McGraw Hill "Best of 2007" Award for Best New Industrial Building in Oregon. In 2001, the City View Park Building was recognized with the Masonry Institute Honor Award for Design and Use of Masonry. The Widmer Bros. Brewery Expansion project was also awarded the AIA Architecture and Energy Award in 1997, and it was published in Architectural Record, September 1997. Additionally, it received recognition by Prepared Foods Magazine as the best new food manufacturing plant in 1997.
