Meet the Doctor

Our chiropractic physician, Dr. William Sisson, D.C., is a Wilmington native who graduated from New Hanover High in 1965. He completed his BA at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware Ohio in 1969 with a History major and a minor in Spanish. Dr. Sisson then pursued post-graduate work at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Latin American Studies, and later studied Agricultural Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. After discovering his passion for planning, he transferred to UCLA, where he completed his MA in Planning in 1977, specializing in environmental planning.

Dr. Sisson worked as an intern with the LA Redevelopment Agency and later secured a position in the Los Angeles City Planning Department. He has always been dedicated to helping others and decided to pursue a career in chiropractic care to better serve his community.

Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology is a practice that uses muscle strength testing as a tool for functional neurological evaluation. This approach helps us understand how the nervous system controls the muscles and how it affects overall health. By applying this technique, we can identify any imbalances or weaknesses in the body and create a treatment plan to address these issues.

About Chiropractic
