Welcome to Double Eagle Fitness, a place where we believe in living a life that is not only healthy but also full of energy and confidence. We are dedicated to providing our clients with the tools they need to achieve their fitness goals, whether it's through personal training, small group training, nutrition planning, or self-defense classes.
Our story began in Mosul, Iraq, where a Special Forces Sergeant and a civilian met during a race. They bonded over their love for running and fitness, and eventually decided to dedicate their lives to helping others achieve their fitness goals. They got certified as personal trainers and nutritional consultants through the National Personal Training Institute, and have been helping people in Marin County discover their inner athlete ever since.
Our team is led by Samantha Lief, a certified personal trainer and nutritional consultant, who also holds a CrossFit Level One Trainer certification. She is a recipient of the Department of Defense Civilian Expeditionary Medal for her service in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mosul, Iraq, and speaks Arabic, French, and Albanian. She has a Bachelor's degree from Mills College and a Master's degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
Beqir Gjoka, our co-founder, is also a certified personal trainer and nutritional consultant with a CrossFit Level One Trainer certification. He served as an Albanian Army Special Forces Sergeant from 2000 to 2010, completed 16 marathons in three countries, and has won several awards for his service, including the Albanian Presidential Military Service Medal and the Albanian Army Chief of Staff medal.

- Personal & Small Group Training: Our personal training sessions are tailored to meet each client's specific needs and goals. Every 60-minute session includes a total body workout, warm-up, and post-stretching. We train our clients outdoors in the sunshine and under the stars, focusing on functional fitness and compound exercises that mimic daily life. Small group training is also available for those who prefer working out with friends or family members.
- Nutrition: We believe that nutrition is a crucial element of a healthy lifestyle. Our trainers will work with you to create a personalized nutrition plan that complements your fitness goals and preferences. We focus on teaching our clients the scientific truth about nutrition, weight loss, and personal safety, without any gimmicks or fad diets.
- Kids, Teens, & Adult Self Defense Classes: Our self-defense classes are designed to help our clients feel more confident and prepared for any situation. We offer classes for kids, teens, and adults, teaching them the skills they need to protect themselves and stay safe.
