Riverfield Country Day School is a secular, independent private school nestled on 120 acres in Tulsa, Oklahoma, serving families with children from two months to 12th grade. Founded in 1984, our school is committed to providing a unique education community that nurtures each individual's cognitive, physical, behavioral, social, and emotional growth and development.
Our Mission and Philosophy
Our mission is to ignite adventure, inspire inquiry, and build excellence to empower students to change their world. We are committed to school as a place of research, valuing each individual within a safe, respectful, learner-focused community that bravely grows and evolves together as One Riverfield. Our approach is centered around designing robust environments, active learning experiences, and integrated curricula through inquiry and problem/project-based approaches to creatively demonstrate progressions toward mastery through feedback, iteration, and application.
Our Program
At Riverfield Country Day School, we offer a comprehensive program that includes Pre-School, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School. Our Pre-School is inspired by the Schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and values children as competent and capable learners deserving of competent and capable educators. Our Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School programs are designed to foster intellectual curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, preparing our students to succeed in an ever-changing world.
