Pipefitters Apprentice School

Pipe Fitters Local 211 was chartered in 1949 and is one of over 300 local unions in the United Association. Since then, we have been training qualified craftsmen across the entire Southeast Gulf Coast region. We pride ourselves in our great Apprenticeship program as well as our Journeyman, Instrumentation, and HVAC Service programs. Our members maintain a commitment to quality that we instill from day one. The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada is a multi-craft union whose members are engaged in the fabrication, installation, and servicing of piping systems. The UA has been training qualified pipe tradesmen longer than anyone else in the industry.

Our history dates back to 1949 when Local 195 in Beaumont, Texas merged with other local unions to form Local 211.
