Our Founder: G. Philip Anderson

G. Philip Anderson (Phil), our founder and principal attorney, brings an impressive wealth of experience to the firm, having begun his professional journey with Genesco, Inc., a Fortune 500 apparel company in Nashville, Tennessee. During his nine-year tenure with Genesco, Phil served in various legal, staff, and operational positions, including Associate Corporate Counsel, Director of Wage/Price Controls, Director of Operations Analysis, and Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for Grief Menswear Division. In 1978, Phil ventured into private law practice, dedicating his expertise to general business/corporate matters, business litigation, wills, trusts and estates, and certain taxation matters.

Phil is licensed to practice in all Tennessee Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (New Orleans). He holds memberships in prestigious professional organizations such as the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
