About Dr. J. Michael Rooney
A native of New Orleans, Dr. Rooney earned his dental degree from Loyola University after completing his undergraduate studies. He then served as a dentist in the Navy for two years, caring for new recruits at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot. Since 1973, Dr. Rooney has been dedicated to helping patients in Gretna, LA achieve optimal oral health by continuously furthering his education in the latest dental treatments and techniques. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association.
