Aman Architecture LLC is dedicated to the architectural and lifestyle goals of every client. We combine thoughtful, custom design with spatial innovation and social responsibility. Our team generates architecture and interior design that is functional, beautiful, and sustainable. Our work has been profiled in various publications such as The New York Times, New York Magazine, and online publications like Curbed, Urban Omnibus, Metropolis, and Archpaper. We have also been featured in the book Apartment Living.

We take a collaborative approach with each project, extending our collaboration not only to our clients but also to the engineers, contractors, and consultants we work with. Context is the cornerstone of each project. Under the guidance of Heather Aman, our team strives to respect historic integrity while embracing current architectural principles. We shun rigid style particulars in favor of architecture that is highly customized to the client's design objectives and the unique features of the physical site. This results in remarkable and distinctive spaces.

Each client arrives with their own vision for their property, including functional requirements and aesthetic inclinations. The most challenging part of the architectural process is combining that vision with our expertise to create a coherent, singular design. Heather Aman participates fully in the design process with each client. She received her Master's in Architecture from Columbia University and is a registered architect in New York State. Heather is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Architectural League, and the New York Green Building Council, holding LEED accreditation and Passive House Design certification.

Our Services

Our services include architecture, feasibility studies, site surveys, property assessments, conceptual design, strategic planning, project cost evaluations, construction documentation, project engineering, municipal and private agency approvals, contract administration, and project management. We also offer interior design services such as existing condition assessments, conceptual space planning, programming, and design development. Additionally, we assist with furniture inventory, selection, and purchasing, as well as furniture, fixture, and millwork design. We have expertise in LEED certification, including feasibility reviews, design, and certification administration.
