Empowering Creativity, One Brushstroke at a Time
Artsy Me, a contemporary ceramic studio, was founded by Cricket and Brad Willis on December 1st, 2001. Their dream was to provide a safe, creative environment for people of all ages to express themselves through art. Since its inception, Artsy Me has evolved, moving locations and expanding its reach.
Our Journey
Initially located on Walton Way Ext., Artsy Me became the first contemporary ceramic studio in Augusta. After a few years, the studio moved to Davis Road, where it remained for three years. During this period, Cricket took her creativity on the road, traveling to schools, churches, and events with her children in tow, offering a unique opportunity for many to experience the joy of creating art.
In February 2012, Artsy Me opened its next location in Evans, Georgia, at 4275 Washington Road, a historic landmark in Columbia County. The studio has remained at this location ever since. In June 2016, Artsy Me expanded its presence with a second location in Downtown Augusta. However, after the challenges posed by 2020, the decision was made to relocate this location to Grovetown, and on October 1st, 2020, Artsy Me @ The Gateway opened its doors.
Our Mission
Our mission at Artsy Me is to provide a welcoming space where individuals of all ages can explore their creativity and express themselves through art. We believe that everyone has an artist within them, and our goal is to help you discover and nurture that artistic spirit.

At Artsy Me, we offer a variety of services designed to cater to different needs and preferences. From walk-in pottery painting sessions to kids' parties, ladies' nights out, and wheel throwing classes, we have something for everyone. Our staff is always available to guide you through the process, ensuring that you have a fun and fulfilling experience.
For kids' parties, we offer a stress-free and fun environment where children can enjoy 1.5 hours of instructed party time. We can accommodate up to 20 children, with a minimum of eight kids required to book a party. The cost per child is $20, which includes all materials and instruction.
Ladies' Night Out is a special event designed for women to gather, celebrate, and create together. A minimum of eight people is required to book an after-hours event, with a $25 after-hours/rental fee and an additional $10 for pottery. This is a great opportunity for friends to bond over a shared love of art and creativity.
We also offer wheel throwing classes, where participants can experience throwing their own pots alongside our instructor. The class includes a step-by-step instructed session, both firings, and paints, all for $60. This is a unique and exciting way to get your hands dirty and create something truly special.
