Established in 1997, Hains Architects is a full-service residential practice based in Bethesda, Maryland, with a focus on providing distinct architectural design and service to our clients. Our ambition is to guide our clients through the planning, design, and construction of their project, resulting in creative and successful solutions. Led by Principal Jeffrey Hains, AIA, who completed his undergraduate and master's degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

With extensive experience in the Washington DC metropolitan region, we have completed various projects, including additions, renovations, and restorations of historic resources. Our work has been recognized with several awards, including the Montgomery County Awards for Historic Preservation for projects such as the Helme Residence and the Neumann Residence. We have also been featured in publications like Renovation Style Magazine and have contributed to the Old Silver Spring House Tour Association's tour book.
