Our opticians are trained to assist you in selecting the right frames and lenses to suit your specific needs.

Specialty Services

Some patients require services and treatments beyond a comprehensive vision evaluation. Dr. Chadwick diagnoses and treats ocular conditions such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic Retinopathy among many others. We also provide emergency care for conditions such as ocular trauma and foreign bodies. Additionally, we work with Ophthalmologists to co-manage cataracts both before and after surgery.

Our Team

Dr. Jeffrey Chadwick leads our team with his extensive knowledge and experience in optometry. He is a Northern Michigan native and a graduate of Ferris State University College of Optometry. He has provided comprehensive optometric care in the Tawas area for over 20 years, specializing in treatment of ocular disease and traumatic injury.

Brenda Chadwick, our business accountant and practice manager, has been with the company since it started in 1998. She handles all the accounting aspects of payables, receivables, payroll and insurance voucher processing.

Terra Whiteman, our dispensing optician, returns to our practice after a five-year absence. She previously served as our dispensing technician but now comes back as our dispensing optician.

Kayla Costigan, our team's newest member, joined the practice in August of 2022.
