We have been serving the Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties since 2005, and we specialize in commercial, industrial, institutional, and government facilities, including roadwork. Our Team

Our team at NL Engineering & Surveying, Inc. is made up of highly-trained, experienced professionals who are dedicated to the success of our business. Our founder and president, Narith Lao, holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a registered California Professional Civil Engineer, a registered California Professional Land Surveyor, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the California Land Surveyors Association. With over 15 years of professional experience, Mr. Lao is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and has held several positions in engineering and land surveying.

Our Senior Project Designer, Frank Marlisa, has over 39 years of professional experience in engineering design work. He is in charge of all engineering design work and personally supervises and provides hands-on experience with all his projects. His duties include project management, grading and drainage design, street plan design, sewer design, street lighting design, earthwork calculations, and cost estimation. Mr. Marlisa has proven to be an extremely valuable asset to the company, with much of his work visible throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and many parts of Southern California.
