At Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, we have a rich history that spans over 140 years of serving the people of Lansdale and the North Penn region. Our story began in 1878 when Samuel B. Conver founded the first funeral home in the area. Over the years, we have seen generations come and go, but our commitment to providing professional, dignified, and loving care to families in their time of need remains unwavering.
Our Story
Our story is one of perseverance, dedication, and a deep commitment to our community. In 1915, George R. Huff Sr. took over the business and moved the funeral home to 414 West Main Street. As the population grew, so did the need for a larger facility. In 1951, a new building was constructed at 701 Derstine Avenue, where we currently operate.
In the mid-1970s, an on-site crematory was installed to better serve families choosing cremation. Throughout the years, our family has continued to grow and adapt to the changing needs of the community. Today, under the supervision of Warren F. Miller III, we continue to serve the people of Lansdale and the North Penn region with the same level of care and dedication that has been our hallmark for over 140 years.
