AAK Architecture & Interiors, Inc. (AAKAII) is a full-service multi-disciplinary firm that was founded in 2003 in Arizona. Over the years, we have expanded our services to clients in New Mexico, California, and Canada. Our team of dedicated design professionals delivers a no-nonsense approach to any project, responding to design challenges and providing our clients with desirable solutions, whether in a home, at work, or in an institutional or recreational setting.

Our portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, from new constructions to renovations, encompassing custom and semi-custom homes, multi-family housing, commercial buildings, tenant improvements, industrial and warehouse tenant improvements, restaurants, churches, synagogues, community centers, schools, and government buildings. Our Principals

Our principals, Artin (Art) Knadjian and Nick Kanaras, are the driving force behind AAKAII's success. Both are experienced architects with extensive portfolios and a deep understanding of the importance of clean, simple solutions that incorporate green building strategies.

Artin (Art) Knadjian, AIA, LEED AP, has extensive experience in many building types and construction in various geographic locales. A graduate of McGill University, Art has been a registered architect since 1982. He has spent an equal time designing buildings in the cold environment of Montreal as he has in the desert environment of Phoenix. Art is guided by a philosophical approach that embraces clean and simple solutions, incorporating green building strategies that ensure a structure is in harmony with its environment.

Nick Kanaras, Director of Design, is versed in many architectural elements, from the rustic complexities of the Tuscan Style to the clean lines of Modern Design. Classically trained at the University of Notre Dame, Nick has a rock-solid foundation in historical architecture. He relishes in the exploration of three-dimensional expression and credits his successes to the wealth of amazing clients that he has had the pleasure of serving throughout the years.
