The M.C. Johnson Company was founded in 1978 by Melissa C. Johnson, an LPN who witnessed firsthand the discomfort caused by medical tubing held together by simple tape. This inspired her to invent the world's first catheter securement device, the Catalytic Secure. Her vision and innovative spirit continue to guide the company.
