Our Story

Joe Pro General Contractors' story began with a high school nickname and a passion for professional services. After graduation, Joseph J. Prokop started his journey in the construction world, learning the trades from experienced professionals. From installing storm windows and doors to roofing, siding, and insulation, he honed his skills and built a strong foundation of craftsmanship. With a focus on demanding customers on the Main Line, he apprenticed for five years, specializing in custom additions.

In 1998, he took on a partner and built a set of twins and a single-family home. In 2000, his son Joe joined the business, and they started building spec homes together.
