Our History

The Garrett County Board of REALTORS was chartered in 1982 as a trade association representing more than 100 real estate professionals. As one of the local boards of the National Association of REALTORS and Maryland REALTORS, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in our industry.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage the highest level of competency, integrity, and fair business practice among our members. We strive to promote affordability and availability of housing and private property, while supporting a regulatory, legislative, and judicial environment equitable to business. Through our educational and informational endeavors, we foster career advancement, real estate best practices, and enforcement of the Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Association of REALTORS.
