Our story began in Atlanta, Georgia, where our co-founders, Lura and Mark Godfrey, recognized a gap in the industry - a lack of personalized attention and a disregard for client needs. Driven by their passion for design and a desire to make architecture approachable for everyone, they launched LDG Design in 2005. This small design studio focused on residential additions and renovations, allowing Lura to reignite her love for crafting spaces that truly reflected the personalities and aspirations of her clients.

As Mark's experience within larger corporate design firms grew, he too realized the importance of human connection and client-centered design. Dissatisfied with the impersonal nature of these larger entities, he joined Lura on her entrepreneurial journey, merging their talents and expertise to establish LMG Architects in 2014.
