Boden Architecture is a Sandpoint, Idaho based firm that specializes in both residential and commercial architecture. Our team of locally and globally trained architects share a passion for the mountains and the unique challenges that building in mountain environments presents. Our services include:

• Conceptual Design: We work closely with our clients to develop a design that meets their needs, constraints, and budget. We explore different options and ideas, and present our clients with a range of design solutions that are tailored to their specific project.
• Design Development: Once a conceptual design is approved, we develop it further to include more detail and to ensure it meets all relevant codes and regulations. We work with our clients to refine the design, making any necessary adjustments along the way.
• Construction Documentation: We create detailed construction documents that can be used to obtain permits and to build the project. These documents include all the information that is needed to construct the building, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Construction Administration: We provide construction administration services to ensure that the project is built in accordance with the construction documents. We attend site visits, review shop drawings, and provide guidance and support to the construction team throughout the building process.

Our Process

• Tim Boden: Tim is the founder and principal of Boden Architecture. He has over 30 years of experience in the architecture industry, and has worked on a wide range of projects, from small residential homes to large commercial buildings. Tim has a passion for the mountains and a deep understanding of the unique challenges that building in mountain environments presents.
• Brandon Mimbs: Brandon is a project manager at Boden Architecture. He has a background in both architecture and engineering, and has a strong attention to detail. Brandon is passionate about sustainable design and building practices, and is committed to creating buildings that are not only visually stunning but also environmentally conscious.
