Minneapolis Event Space

Pique Travel Design is a charming event venue rental space located in historic Excelsior, just outside of Minneapolis. Our 3,000 square foot event space is situated in a beautifully restored 1940s building, originally home to the Lyman Lumber Warehouse. With its rustic, historic, and picturesque aesthetic, Pique Travel Design is the perfect setting for a variety of events, including weddings, receptions, corporate events, fundraisers, and more.

Our Story

Our venue has undergone a complete restoration, while maintaining its original charm and character. The stunning amenities include reclaimed materials, a built-in tiered concrete bar, and a full-length deck that evokes the feeling of a historic train depot. Expansive western-facing windows provide a light and airy charm, while the vaulted wooden barrel ceiling and stone fireplace add warmth and comfort.

Our Services

At Pique Travel Design, we offer a range of services to make your event planning process seamless and stress-free. Our flexible event space can accommodate intimate gatherings of 20 to larger groups of 150+ people. We provide a list of preferred caterers to meet a wide range of budget levels, from casual to formal. You can also purchase your own alcohol with our licensed bartending service. Our inclusive rental rate includes the use of tables, chairs, a big screen TV, projector, large screen, microphones, and stadium surround sound speakers.
