Big Horse Inn & Suites was born from a vision: to create a complete and memorable experience for guests visiting the charming town of Lewistown, Illinois. Don and Trinity Archdale, the owners, had already established the popular Big Horse Vineyards in 2016, and they saw an opportunity to expand their hospitality offerings. Knowing they wanted to incorporate the local craftsmanship and charm of the Fulton County community, they partnered with a renowned Amish construction team to bring their vision to life. The 12-room boutique hotel, completed in May 2018, became a reflection of the area's rich history, agricultural roots, and small-town appeal.
