Our founder, Carl R. Gold, became a lawyer because he wanted to help people from all walks of life. As a result, he is experienced in a wide variety of legal fields, including criminal law, personal injury, labor and employment, education, estate, family law, and other areas. Over the years, he has recovered millions of dollars in personal injury claims for clients, represented thousands of criminal defendants in every level of the judicial system in Maryland, and handled thousands of labor and employment cases on behalf of both individuals and employers.

In addition to his extensive legal experience, Mr. Gold is also committed to giving back to his community. He has been recognized for his pro bono work with Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services and with the Lawyer Referral Service of the Baltimore County Bar. He also recently served as a member of the Towson University Title IX Task Force.

He frequently represents families seeking guardianships and is often court appointed to protect the interests of allegedly disabled individuals in guardianship, do not resuscitate, and other cases involving the liberty interests of the most vulnerable members of society.

• Family Law: We prepare pre- and postnuptial agreements, render advice to those seeking to dissolve their relationship, and are often court appointed to represent children in family matters. In addition, we represent litigants in domestic violence protective orders and peace orders.
