Come for the adventure, stay for the memories.

At Wanderoo Lodge, we are a unique blend of the rustic charm of the Ozarks and the modern comforts you'd expect from a luxurious retreat. We're located in the heart of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, just a short stroll from the town's famous natural springs, shops, and restaurants.

Our Story

Our lodge has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, when it was originally opened as a campground. Over the years, it has undergone several transformations, from a campground to a motel with cabins, to its current incarnation as a luxury lodge. Our lodge is now owned and operated by David and Ethan Avanzino, who have lovingly restored the property to its former glory while adding modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Accommodations

Our pet-friendly lodge offers comfortable rooms, many with private balconies overlooking the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We have a range of room types to choose from, including king-size beds, queen-size beds, and even a few rooms with bunk beds for families. All our rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi.

Food and Drink

And don't forget to stop by our on-site bar and restaurant, The Gravel Bar! We serve up delicious meals, including gourmet sandwiches, salads, and flatbread pizzas. Plus, we have a selection of craft beers and wine to wash it all down. And don't miss our live music events, featuring local and regional musicians.

Adventure Activities

We're located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, so we have plenty of adventure activities at our doorstep. Go hiking, biking, or kayaking to explore the beautiful scenery. We also have nearby lakes and rivers for fishing, boating, and more. And if you prefer something a bit more leisurely, we have friendly walking tours of Eureka Springs and its historic downtown area.

Pet-Friendly Lodge

We love dogs, and so do we! That's why we're a pet-friendly lodge. Well-behaved family pets are welcome for a $20 fee, unless they're prohibited by state law or ordinance. Just remember to clean up after your pet and keep them leashed or contained when outside of your room.

History

Our lodge has a rich history dating back to the 1920s. When we talk about history, we mean stories like Ray and Chloe (Boatright) Freeman, who built the campground that would eventually become Wanderoo Lodge. Today, our lodge is owned and operated by David and Ethan Avanzino, who have lovingly restored the property and added modern comforts.
