CoreWorks Fitness Studio is a unique space dedicated to the empowerment of the mind, body, and spirit through movement. Our mission is to equip our clients with the inner strength and mindful, healing movement necessary to challenge and educate every aspect of their being. We believe in creating health and balance through every stage of life, working hand in hand with our clients to achieve their wellness goals. Our team of instructors and staff members are committed to serving the needs of each student through every class, private session, and interaction.

Our Instructors

Our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to CoreWorks Fitness Studio.

  • Fran Berndt, Founder and Instructor: Fran's love for Pilates made CoreWorks Fitness Studio possible. She has completed comprehensive Pilates training from Balanced Body and additional training from Stott Pilates and PHI Pilates. Fran is also a Licensed Buff Bones Instructor. She believes wholeheartedly in the importance of the mind-body-breath connection for increased ease of movement and quality of life.
  • Sara Raymond, Program Director: Sara is a Comprehensively Certified Pilates instructor and Master Instructor. She brings variety to her teaching style and enjoys working with students of all levels. Sara is also a Hypnotherapist and Transformational Life Coach, working with individuals and small groups to make changes and improve lives.
  • Joanna Gilmer: Joanna began her Pilates journey in 2011 in Warsaw, Poland. She quickly became a committed practitioner, convinced of the benefits of Pilates for body movement, strength, balance, and energy. Joanna is Comprehensively Certified by Balanced Body and teaches Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair.
  • Megan Bruno: Megan began integrating Pilates into her fitness routine during her third pregnancy. The physical and emotional benefits of her practice were transformative, and she has been a believer in the power of Pilates ever since. Megan is Comprehensively Certified by Balanced Body and teaches Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair.
  • Michele Brodsky, Education Director: Michele is a certified personal trainer and has been working with doctors and physical therapists to rehabilitate patients since 1993. Michele also runs the dance conditioning program at CoreWorks and teaches all formats of Pilates classes. She is also a Balanced Body Pilates teacher trainer.
  • Jolene Hall: Jolene came to Pilates from distance running, initially as a form of cross-training to improve core strength and flexibility. Jolene is a Balanced Body Pilates instructor and teaches Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair.

These instructors bring their unique experiences and expertise to CoreWorks Fitness Studio, creating a rich and diverse community of movement and wellness.
