About Our Clinic

Daphne Animal Hospital has served the Eastern Shore area for over 40 years, with a legacy of excellence in veterinary care. Our clinic was founded by Dr. Stephen Hardyman, who acquired the practice from Dr. Nelson in 1992. Dr. Hardyman is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (1985) and has a wealth of experience in small, large, and exotic animal medicine. He has been recognized for his contributions to the veterinary community, serving as the Rabies officer for Baldwin and Dale Counties in Alabama for nine years and as a member of the Mobile VMA for eight years.

Our team is committed to providing personalized care and attention to each patient, with the goal of building a lifelong partnership with our clients and their pets. We believe in the importance of ongoing education and stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine to ensure the best possible care for your pet.

Our Dedicated Team

• Dr. Stephen Hardyman: Our clinic's founder and director, with extensive experience in small and large animal medicine, as well as exotic animal care.
• Dayna Hardyman: Our office manager and veterinary assistant, who brings her extensive experience and compassion to our team.
• Reid Hardyman: Our veterinary assistant and son of Dr. Hardyman, who has been assisting his father since childhood and has a special place in his heart for animals.
• Other staff members: A team of experienced and caring professionals dedicated to providing top-quality care for our patients.
