Snyder's Shades and Shutters has been a family-owned and operated business in Northern Virginia for over four and a half decades. What began as Snyder & Co. Hardware Store in Falls Church in 1972 quickly evolved into a premier provider of custom, high-quality window treatments. Marty Simon, the founder, recognized the growing potential of this specialized industry and dedicated himself to building a reputation for excellence. As the window treatment sector of the business blossomed, Marty ultimately made the decision to focus solely on this passion, transforming Snyder's Shades and Shutters into a thriving enterprise known throughout the region.

We adopt a "No Deposit - Pay at Install" policy (with the exception of shutters), meaning you can confidently experience our exceptional service without any upfront financial commitment.
