Hi! I'm Teresa K, an award-winning professional wedding photographer from Folsom, California. I crave images that are authentic, creative, organic, and every bit as unique as you are! I approach my work with a documentary style that's meant to capture the secret smile that only your close friends know about, the face you make right before you burst into uncontrollable laughter, the way you crinkle your nose right before you cry, the way your face lights up when the love of your life looks at you that way, and all the love and emotion that surrounds you and lifts you up as you start your adventure together as newlyweds! There are so many wonderful moments that will happen on your wedding day, and I'm extremely passionate about capturing them in the most raw, beautiful, and original way possible. I feel blessed every day I pick up my camera, and I can't wait to have you in front of it!

I've been married for 24 years now (oops, my age is showing!) to my ride or die, my forever date, and my best friend Tim. Trust me when I say that I truly know and appreciate love for exactly what it is - a crazy, unpredictable, magnificent roller coaster of a ride that no one can ever prepare you for. Together, we have two beautiful children (I think I'll keep them even if they drive me crazy sometimes). I believe in love and marriage (for everyone), in toughing it out when things get rough, in family, in God, and in the power of the human spirit (we are a remarkable species). I'm an extrovert (I talk too much sometimes), I LOVE animals (I want to bring them all home), I eat ALL the food (because a delicious meal makes me happy), I listen to every genre of music (because music feeds the soul), and I am full of love and positive energy (like really, it can be annoying). I'm traditional but not a conformist, and my cup is half full every single day.

I found my passion for photography in 2006 when taking pictures of my baby girl, I shot my first wedding in 2008, and I was instantly hooked! Presenting my view of the world (did I tell you I see the best in everything?) with images that document all the incredible moments that happen on your wedding day is among the best feelings I've ever experienced. Second Shooters

Having two photographers to capture your wedding day is a must! My partners in crime and second shooter/lighting assistants on your wedding day are simply the best. They are groomsmen wranglers, light slinging, photographer ninjas. My partner will shoot the boys getting ready and I shoot the girls. During the rest of your wedding, we are working as a team to capture all the different perspectives of your day. This means not just you two as a couple, but your family, friends, and guests as they react to moments (and have their own as well). This means assistance with lighting for the romantic portraits and family formals as needed, and the creation of reception lighting for amazing, cinematic images any time of day, indoors or outdoors.

Meet Aimee, the Queen of editing! A master of the digital darkroom, Aimee knows how to bring out the best in every photo like no one else. Since 2014, each and every image wedding image from Teresa K photography is brought to full potential through her work. Her ability to create perfectly matched skin tones and her mastery of color is truly a gift. I cannot imagine my business without Aimee! I absolutely embrace the concept of doing what you love in this world; and, Aimee has an unmatched passion for reflecting the best in people. As someone who has been in the wedding industry as long as I have (10 years at last count), she knows the importance of consistency in your wedding images.
