About the CEO

Corey McClerklin, a native of Columbia, SC, is the founder and CEO of McClerklin's Electrical Service. After graduating from Dreher High School, Corey attended Midlands Technical College, where he further developed his knowledge and skills in electricity. By the age of twenty-one, he obtained his first business cards and began building his company.

Corey continued to grow and learn throughout his career, earning his Journeyman Electrical License at the age of twenty-three and his Master Electrical License by thirty-six. His experience working for various electrical companies in Columbia, SC, including a fifteen-year stint at CMC Steel, provided him with valuable business and supervisory skills.

In 2017, Corey decided to go full-time as an entrepreneur, and three and a half years later, McClerklin's Electrical Service has become one of the top ten electrical companies in the Midlands. Corey's passion for electricity and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction have made him a respected figure in the electrical industry.
