Mission & Vision

Camp By The Sea is a place where days are filled with enjoyable, age-appropriate activities, trips, and exciting programs for children aged 2-16. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We aim to foster an atmosphere that encourages campers to challenge themselves, try new activities, and form new friendships, all while learning valuable life skills, confidence, and self-esteem. Rooted in Jewish values, Camp By The Sea supports the mission of the Milton and Betty Katz JCC, promoting an appreciation of Jewish identity, values, and culture, and strengthening Jewish family life, community, and continuity for current and future generations. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all children, encouraging positive attitudes and strengthening Jewish family values and beliefs through play.

Camp Programs

Shacar (Ages 2-4)

Shacar camp days are filled with joyful, age-appropriate activities, including art, swimming, water play, dance, music, sports, and Shabbat. Offering both four and eight-week options, Shacar provides a well-rounded camp experience for our youngest campers as they explore and learn in a safe and supportive environment.

Gesher & Chavarim (Grades K-3)

Gesher & Chavarim campers enjoy weekly trips to the beach, along with all the fun at the JCC, including free swim, sports, gaga, and daily theme days. Our experienced staff designs activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of each camper, ensuring a memorable and engaging summer experience.

Noar (Grades 4-6)

Noar camper days are packed with sports, arts and crafts projects, and weekly trips to the beach for age-appropriate games and activities. Through team sports, creative expression, and collaborative play, Noar campers further develop their skills and confidence in a supportive environment.

Giborim (Grades 7-8)

Giborim campers enjoy a more advanced camp program, including competitive sports, art projects, and weekly trips to the beach for fun and engaging age-appropriate games and activities. As they grow and mature, our older campers gain increased responsibility, fostering leadership skills and self-confidence.

L.I.T. (Leaders In Training) (Grades 9-10)

Our L.I.T., Leaders In Training program, offers a unique blend of learning and enjoyment for teenagers. Participants will develop essential leadership and counseling skills while still having fun as a teenager. The L.I.T. program provides hands-on experience and guidance, helping prepare campers for future roles as counselors and mentors.
