Welcome to Planet Earth Pre-School and Daycare, where we have been serving the Ravenna community since 1998. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, where they can learn and grow while building self-confidence and trust. At Planet Earth, we believe that respect must be shown at all times for the children, caretakers, and the environment.

Our team is committed to delivering a family-based type of care, where we take the time to get to know each child and their family. We pride ourselves on building strong bonds with every child in our care, ensuring that they feel comfortable and secure while in our custody. We understand that social skills play a crucial role in a child's development, and we strive to teach them trust, respect, and confidence in themselves and others.

Planet Earth is proud to be a FIVE Star-Rated center with Step Up To Quality, Ohio's quality rating and improvement system for licensed learning and development programs. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality care and education to the children in our care.

Our Staff

Our staff is the backbone of our organization, and we are proud to have a team of dedicated and experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do. Our owner and director, Mandi Goudy, has a Bachelor's and Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the childcare setting for over 10 years. She is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child in our care.

Our assistant director, Miss Lish, has been working in the childcare setting for over two years and has a natural affinity for working with children. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child in our care receives the best possible care and education.

Services Offered

At Planet Earth Pre-School and Daycare, we offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each child in our care. Our programs include:

• Infant Class (6 weeks - 18 months): Our infant program is designed to provide a warm and nurturing environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Our experienced and trained staff provide individualized care and attention, ensuring that each infant's physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Toddler Class (18 months - 3 years): Our toddler program provides a stimulating environment where children can explore and learn through play. Our staff work closely with each child to build social skills, language development, and independence.
• Preschool Class (3 years - 5 years): Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. We focus on building social skills, language development, and academic readiness through a variety of hands-on activities and experiences.
• School-Age Class (5 years - 12 years): Our school-age program provides a safe and engaging environment for children after school. We offer a variety of activities, including homework help, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
• Summer Camp: Our summer camp program provides a fun and engaging environment for children during the summer months. We offer a variety of activities, including field trips, sports, arts and crafts, and science experiments.
