Our History

Mossholders was founded in 1909 by the Mossholder family, and since then, we have been serving the Sheridan and surrounding communities with high-quality home furnishings. In 1979, Leo Mossholder sold the business to Bert and Carol Hammond, marking the first time the business left the Mossholder family. However, in January of 2016, Sheridan native Aaron Ligocki purchased the assets of the business from the Hammonds, and he continues to operate the business under the Mossholders name.

Aaron lives in Sheridan with his wife and three children, and he is committed to maintaining the legacy of Mossholders while continuing to provide excellent customer service. His dedication to the community and his commitment to quality are what set Mossholders apart from other home furnishing businesses.
