At Broke Brewing Company, we're all about quality, taste, and local experience. Our journey began in the spring of 2018, when our co-founder and CEO, Charn Langford, had a vision to open a brewery. With over 30 years of combined brewing experience, our master brewer, Mike Groshong, has been dedicated to crafting some of the finest beers in Oklahoma City. With a passion for brewing, we aim to bring people together through our beer, providing a unique experience that embodies our core values.
Our Story
It all began when Charn Langford, with a background in manufacturing, product development, and business administration from the University of Oklahoma, decided to take the leap and pursue his passion for brewing. With the help of his co-founder, Mike Groshong, a master brewer with nearly 30 years of experience, they set out to create a unique and exciting brewery. After overcoming several obstacles, including finding a suitable location and navigating the complex regulations in the industry, Broke Brewing Company finally opened its doors. The name "Broke" came about during a pivotal moment when the founders realized that they would have to rely solely on their determination and perseverance to succeed, giving them the nickname "Broke Brewing" - literally, a brewery that's going all in or "bust."

- Mike Groshong, Co-Owner/Master Brewer: With nearly 30 years of brewing experience, Mike has perfected the art of crafting beer. His passion for brewing is evident in every pint he creates, and we're thrilled to have him on board.
- Diana De Santiago, Co-Owner/Designer/Marketing: As a skilled graphic designer and marketing expert, Diana brings a keen eye for detail to our branding and marketing efforts. Her creative genius shines through in our logo design, which was inspired by mid-century design, money, and, of course, hops!

General Atmosphere and Service
The brewery has a great atmosphere, with many reviewers praising the cozy and chill vibe. The staff is friendly, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful. Some reviewers appreciated the unique decor, including the old school building, record player, and Adventure Time on the TV.
Beer Selection and Quality
The beer selection is varied and interesting, with many reviewers trying multiple beers and enjoying them.
