Our staff is dedicated to the success of your child. They are certified in CPR, First Aid, SIDs and Child Maltreatment Prevention Trainings, and receive in-service training hours annually. Our staff members are passionate about providing a positive learning experience for your child and are committed to fostering their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.

About Precious Moments Learning Center

Precious Moments Learning Center was established in March 2014 under the leadership of Tameshia Joyner. We are a 5-star facility that serves the needs of children aged 6 weeks to 11 years. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, nurturing, and safe learning environment for children, helping them grow into productive adults. We offer structured programs that include free play opportunities, arts and crafts, science, reading, writing, music, and indoor and outdoor play. We also provide childcare services 24 hours a day, including weekends, to assist parents with the care of their children.

About the Owner

Ms. Tameshia Joyner started Precious Moments Learning Center, LLC with the mission to provide quality childcare for low-income families. She is a native of Bertie county and an East Carolina University alumna with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services. She also has a MBA and a Masters in Human Resource Management from Colorado Technical University. Ms. Joyner has over a decade of experience working with children and youth and is passionate about enriching children's lives with a loving touch while their parents work or attend school.

About the Staff

Our teaching staff at PMLC have a minimum of the NC Early Childhood Credential and at least one year of childcare experience. However, most have completed coursework in early childhood education and have many years of childcare experience. In addition to the owner/director, Tameshia Joyner, PMLC employs a Program Supervisor, Second Shift Supervisor, and Weekend Supervisor, cooks, floaters and van drivers to best assist parents and teachers. All staff members are certified in CPR, First Aid, SIDs, and Child Maltreatment Prevention trainings, as well as receive in-service training hours annually.

Additional Services

Precious Moments Learning Center serves hot breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, as well as afternoon and late evening snacks. Our meals are healthy, made fresh on-site, and comply with and exceed state Health and Nutrition standards. We also offer van transportation to and from most NC-Pre-K/Head Start and Elementary schools in the Greenville/Winterville area. Home pick-up and late day drop-offs are available on a need basis to select areas.
