Our History

Our story began in 1929 when Herman Lederer, a young immigrant from Germany, came to America looking to start a new life. Despite facing economic turmoil and setbacks, Herman's work ethic and cultivation know-how soon landed him a job at a wholesale greenhouse. A few years later, Herman began his own business in Parker Ford, PA, which eventually grew into the Lederer's Greenhouses we know today. Now, as a third-generation family-run business, we take pride in fostering each flower from the unrooted cutting stage into a fully matured and top-quality product.
