Our Story
Our founder, Maureen Feeney, RN, BSN, M.Om., L.Ac., has over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. Her journey into acupuncture began in 2005, and she was intrigued by the results. She furthered her education in Eastern Medicine and completed her degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota in 2011. Maureen opened River Point Acupuncture with a goal to provide the Omaha/Metro Area with the highest quality of acupuncture available.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including acupuncture, lymphatic breast Tui Na massage, microneedling, and additional services such as pink crystal cooling face masks, Esthemax jelly masks, tuning forks/singing bowls, cupping, and ear seeds. Our services are designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall health and wellness.
Our acupuncture treatments are evidenced-based and have consistently shown to be effective in treating many acute and chronic conditions. We also offer lymphatic breast Tui Na massage, a 75-minute treatment specifically designed to assist the lymphatic system to drain properly. Our microneedling treatment is a minimally invasive procedure using thin needles to help reduce the appearance of skin concerns such as acne scars, stretch marks, or wrinkles.

Meet Maureen Feeney, our founder and licensed acupuncturist. Maureen has 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and has a deep understanding of Western medicine. She believes in bridging the gap between Western and Eastern medicine, providing the highest quality of care possible. Meet Chloe, our office manager, who joined our team in 2020. Chloe is a people-oriented person who loves music, singing, and exploring spirituality.
