Our Story

For over 90 years, Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. has been proud to serve the people of Butler and the surrounding areas during the most delicate times in their family's lives. Our humble beginnings date back to 1927, when the Thompson brothers, R. Glenn Thompson and Dean D. Thompson, founded the funeral home. With the purchase of the Koch Family residence at the corner of McKean and North Street, they dedicated the facility to the "Glory of God" and opened its doors to provide comfort and warmth to those grieving the loss of a loved one.
